I had the pleasure and honor of appearing on THE Rock N Roll Talk Show with Greg Kot and Jim DeRogatis and talking about Chicago, the label I helped start, and what it all meant. One of the things that made the city so special was that, from the very earliest days, critics like them—even though they wrote for BIG publications that had no business covering labels like mine--took the time and interest to follow and report on what we were doing. It made me feel like maybe I was on the right track.
